Truth is, I don’t wanna know
I have no idea to this day what those two Italian ladies were singing about. Truth is, I don’t wanna know. Some things are best left unsaid. I like to think it was something so beautiful it can’t be expressed in words, and makes your heart ache because of it. I tell you, those voices soared higher and farther than a person in a gray place dares to dream. It was like some beautiful bird flapped into our drab little cage.

A story that captivated me once, where you have everything you could ever want but don’t realise it till they are gone. This song, that will forever remind me of it and that feeling, is The Blower’s Daughter by Damien Rice.
This is from the movie Closer (2004) with a stellar cast that truly makes the movie great.
